BPL 2022 – Match 29 (Chattogram Challengers vs Sylhet Sunrisers)
In the 29th match of BPL 2022 on Saturday, Chattogram Challengers got a great victory by 4 wickets against Sylhet Sunrisers courtesy of Will Jacks’ devastating innings at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. After losing the toss, Sunrisers scored 185 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
Sunrisers captain Ravi Bopara top-scored with 44 off 21 balls. Lendl Simmons (42), Mosaddek Hossain (35*), and Anamul Haque (32) also played well to help the team to get the final total. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury took the maximum number of three wickets for the Challengers. Mehidy Hasan and Shoriful Islam took one wicket each.
Chasing a challenging target of 188 runs, the Challengers reached the winning port losing 6 wickets in 19.1 overs. Will Jacks played the match-winning innings for the Challengers smashing 8 fours and 4 sixes, he scored an unbeaten 92 off 57 balls. Chadwick Walton (35 off 23 balls) and Shamim Hossain (21 off 7 balls) also played two stormy innings for the team. Sohag Gazi and Alauddin Babu took the maximum number of 2 wickets each for the Sunrisers.
After winning this match, Chattogram Challengers has risen to the 3rd position in the points table and is the 3rd team who secured the play-off spot. On the other hand, Sylhet Sunrisers, who had already gotten out of the tournament, ended the tournament remaining at the bottom of the points table.

BPL 2022 – Match 30 (Khulna Tigers vs Comilla Victorians)
The Khulna Tigers have picked up a huge 9-wicket win with 8 balls to spare over Comilla Victorians in the second match of Sunday’s doubleheader at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur courtesy of Andre Fletcher’s remarkable century. Victorians won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost five wickets in 20 overs and scored 182 runs due to Faf du Plessis’ century.
Du Plessis played a great innings of 101 runs off 54 balls with 12 fours and 3 sixes for the Victorians. Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored 31 and Mahidul Islam remained unbeaten on 20 runs. For the Tigers, Mahedi Hasan, Farhad Reza, and Naveen-ul-Haq took one wicket each.
Chasing a challenging target of 183 runs, the Tigers reached the port of victory by losing just one wicket in 18.4 overs. Andre Fletcher played a devastating 101-run unbeaten innings of 62 balls smashing 6 fours and 6 sixes. Mahedi Hasan played a stormy innings of 74 runs off 49 balls. Moeen Ali took only one wicket for the Victorians.
After winning this match, Khulna Tigers has risen to the fourth position in the points table and is the last team who confirmed the play-off spot. On the other hand, Comilla Victorians, who had earlier confirmed progress to the play-offs, are now in the 2nd position of the points table.

PSL 2022 – Match 18 (Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators)
Quetta Gladiators have won the 18th match of the PSL 2022 by 5 wickets with 2 balls to spare against Islamabad United at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. After losing the toss and getting to bat first, United lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and collected a big score of 199 runs.
For the United, Alex Hales scored the highest 62 off 38 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. In addition, Faheem Ashraf played a stormy innings of 55 runs off 28 balls. For the Gladiators, Shahid Afridi and James Faulkner took the maximum number of two wickets each. Nasim Shah and Nur Ahmed took 1 wicket each.
Chasing a big target of 200 runs, Gladiators lost five wickets in 19.4 overs and crossed the target set by the opposition. Jason Roy played a devastating innings of 54 off 27 balls for the team. Ahsan Ali scored 30, James Vince 29, and Umar Akmal scored 23 runs. In the end, captain Sarfaraz Ahmed played a stormy innings of 50 runs off 32 balls and left the field after winning the match.
