Zimbabwe finished their previous day’s game scoring 220 runs for 9 wickets. They had to score 158 runs with 1 wicket in hand to avoid losing by an inning. They were all out to score 11 runs in that mission yesterday. As a result, Pakistan won by an inning and 147 runs. They won the series 2-0.

Shaheen picked up a fifer on the historic win of Pakistan. For the first time in their Test history, 3 bowlers took fifers in the same match. Hasan Ali claimed 5 wickets in the first innings. In the second innings, left-arm spinner Nauman Ali got a fifer besides Shaheen.

It has happened only 6 times that 3 players of the same team have been able to take fifers in the same match of 150 year’s Test cricket history. Test cricket last saw such an incident in 1993. After almost 26 years, the Pakistan cricket team made their name on the list.

As a result of this victory, Babar Azam’s team embarrassed Zimbabwe in the two-match Test series. Abid Ali, who played unbeaten innings of 215 runs, was awarded the man of the match. Fast bowler Hasan Ali has won the man of the series award.
