The Day-4 of the one-off Test between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, the 2nd ODI of the 3-match series between England and Pakistan, and the 2nd T20I of the 5-match series between West Indies and Australia rolled on the field yesterday and today respectively. ZIM vs BAN (Only Test – Day 4)
At the end of the third day’s game, Bangladesh scored 45 runs without losing any wicket, they entered the field on the morning of the fourth day with Shadman Islam (22*) and Saif Hassan (20*) at the crease. The two scored 88 runs together. Shadman and Najmul Hossain Shanto reigned at the crease for 2 hours and 20 minutes after Saif (43) returned to the dressing room after falling victim to Richard Ngarava.
On the second wicket, Bangladesh went beyond the reach of Zimbabwe with a pair of unbroken 196 runs. At that 8 boundaries, Shadman scored his first Test century off 180 balls. And Najmul’s second Test century came with just 109 balls hitting 5 boundaries, and 4 sixes. Bangladesh lost one wicket in the second innings and scored 284 runs. As a result, Zimbabwe’s target stood at 477 runs.
Zimbabwean opener Milton Shumba (11) lost his wicket off Taskin and returned to the dressing room. Playing 102 balls and scoring only 7 runs, Takudzwanashe Kaitano fell into the lbw trap off Shakib Al Hasan. Brendan Taylor was performing well with the bat. Taylor returned to the pavilion in the ball of Miraz after scoring 91 off 73 balls. Dion Myers (18*) and Donald Tiripano (7*) are on the wickets now.
Zimbabwe lost 3 wickets for 140 runs at the end of the day, 337 runs behind the target, and ended the fourth day’s play.

ENG vs PAK (2nd ODI)
England won the second ODI of the 3-match series at Lord’s by a decent margin of 52 runs against Pakistan. After winning the toss, Pakistan invited England to bat first. The match was reduced to 47 overs due to rain. In the cartel over-match, England was all out to score 247 in 45.2 overs. Phil Salt, who made his debut in the previous match, scored 60, James Vince scored 56, Lewis Gregory scored 40, Brydon scored Carse 31, and Ben Stokes scored 22 runs.
Hasan Ali took 5 wickets for 51 runs. Haris Rauf took 2 wickets. Shaheen Afridi, Shadab Khan, and Saud Shakeel took one wicket each.
Batting in reply, Pakistan lost 7 wickets to score only 118 runs. From there, Shakeel took the team closer to 200 in the second ODI of his career. He scored the highest 56 runs for the team. Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman, the two openers, returned to the dressing room with 1 and 10 runs respectively. Babar Azam, who could not open the book of scoring in the first match, left the crease with 19 runs in this match. Besides, fast bowler Hasan Ali added 31 runs to the team’s total.
Chasing the target of 248 runs, Pakistan was all out for 195 runs. In addition to his effective contribution with the bat, Lewis Gregory was named the player of the match by taking 3 wickets. With one match in hand, England won the 3-match series 2-0.

WI vs AUS (2nd T20I)
The host West Indies has clinched up a 56-run victory in the second Twenty20 match of the series against Australia at home. The batting of Shimron Hetmyer, Andre Russell, and Dwayne Bravo has helped the Carribeans to do this.
After losing the toss at Darren Sammy Stadium in St. Lucia, the West Indies lost 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and scored 196 runs. Hetmyer played a devastating inning of 61 off 36 balls with 2 fours and 4 sixes. West Indies made 103 runs in 10 overs with Bravo and Hetmyer. Bravo missed his half-century for just three runs. He scored 47 off 34 balls. However, in the end, Caribbean all-rounder Russell was sharp with his bat. He scored an unbeaten 24 off 8 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes.
In reply, Australia’s innings ended with 140 runs. Mitchell Marsh scored 54 off 42 balls but failed to win the match for the team. Because no one could accompany him. Sheldon Cottrell took 2 wickets for West Indies, and Hayden Walsh took 3 wickets. The win gave the hosts a 2-0 lead in the 5-match T20I series. The Caribbeans will win the series if they win one more match.
