Pakistan made 510 for 8 in their first and only innings of the match. As a result, Pakistan made Zimbabwe follow-on with a 378-run lead. Regis Chakabva and Brendan Taylor, two experienced Zimbabwean batsmen, gave a hint of resistance in the second innings. Their 79-run partnership was a promise to turn around. But in the aggressive bowling of Nauman Ali and Shaheen Afridi, that possibility has been crushed.

Regis Chakabva, who scored the team’s highest 33 runs in the previous innings, raised the possibility of a century this time.
