Pakistan lost 4 wickets for 268 runs at the end of the first day, entered the field on the second day with Abid Ali (118*) and Sajid Khan (1*) at the crease. Abid Ali scored a double century for the first time in his career. Earlier, 174 runs were his highest. Nauman Ali was also on fire with the bat along with Abid Ali. He went down to bat at number 9 and got out at the very doorstep of the century. Nauman Ali batted for 104 balls and scored 97 runs. After scoring the first half-century in his career, the century was also nearby. But unfortunately, Nauman got out just 3 runs away.

However, captain Babar Azam declared the innings after scoring 510 runs for 8 wickets in the end. Abid Ali remained unbeaten on 215 off 407 balls. Mohammad Rizwan and Sajin Khan couldn’t do well with the bat, they scored 21 and  20 runs respectively. Blessing Muzarabani took 3 wickets conceding 72 runs for Zimbabwe. Tendai Chisoro gave away 131 runs for 2 wickets. Richard Ngarava, Luke Jongwe, and Donald Tiripano took one wicket each.

Coming down to bat in their first innings, the hosts, Zimbabwe has lost their way in front of the Pakistani pace. They lost their way in the furious bowling of Shaheen Afridi, Tabish Khan, and Hasan Ali. They lost 4 wickets to score 47 runs. These three pacers have taken 1 wicket each. Spinner Sajid Khan has also joined the list of wicket-takers. He bowled 3 overs and took one wicket without conceding any run.

Only Regis Chakabva is fighting alone with 28 runs off 71 balls. On the second day, Zimbabwe scored 52 runs for 4 wickets and are 458 runs behind Pakistan. Chakabva’s partner on the wicket is Tendai Chisoro with 1 run.
