Fortune Barishal has defeated Comilla Victorians by 32 runs in the 21st match of BPL 2022 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Monday with the help of Shakib Al Hasan’s all-around performance. After losing the toss and batting first, Fortune lost 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and 155 runs.

The world’s best all-rounder Shakib played an adventurous inning of 50 off 37 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes for the Fortune. Besides, Munim Shahriar scored 45 off 25 balls and Towhid Hridoy left the field after playing an unbeaten 31-run innings off 37 balls. Tanvir Islam took the maximum number of 2 wickets for the Victorians.

Chasing a challenging target of 156 runs, the Victorians’ innings stopped at 123 after losing nine wickets in 20 overs due to the great bowling of the Fortune bowlers. Mominul Haque scored the highest 30 runs from 30 balls for the team. In addition, Liton Das scored 19 off 17 balls and Tanvir Islam remained unbeaten on 21 off 14 balls. BPL 2022 – Match 22 (Khulna Tigers vs Sylhet Sunrisers)

Khulna Tigers have defeated Sylhet Sunrisers by 15 runs in the second match of Monday’s doubleheader in BPL 2022 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium thanks to the excellent performance by Soumya Sarkar in both the batting and bowling department. The Tigers batted first after losing the toss and scored 182 runs to lose 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Soumya played a devastating inning of unbeaten 82 off 62 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes for the Tigers. Besides, Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten after playing a stormy inning of 62 off 38 balls. Sohag Gazi and AKS Swadhin took the maximum number of 1 wicket each for the Sunrisers.

Chasing the big target of 183 runs, the Sunrisers’ innings came to a halt at 167 after losing 6 wickets in 20 overs due to the controlled bowling of the Tigers’ bowlers. Opener Anamul Haque played the highest innings of 47 runs from 33 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes for the team. In addition, Colin Ingram scored 37 and Mosaddek Hossain scored 39* runs. Quetta Gladiators have defeated Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets in the 15th match of PSL 2022 at the National Stadium in Karachi, courtesy of Jason Roy’s remarkable century. After losing the toss and getting to bat first, the Qalandars lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and collected a big score of 204 runs.

For the Qalandars, Fakhar Zaman scored the highest 70 runs off 45 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Towards the end, Harry Brook (41 off 17 balls) and David Wiese (22 off 9 balls) remained unbeaten, playing two stormy innings. Ghulam Mudassar took the maximum number of 2 wickets for the Gladiators. Besides, Luke Wood and Iftikhar Ahmed took one wicket each.

Chasing a huge target of 205 runs, the Gladiators lost just 3 wickets in 19.3 overs and reached the port of victory. Jason Roy played the match-winning innings of 116 off 57 balls smashing 11 fours and 8 sixes for the team.
