CPL 2021 Match 17 (St Kitts & Nevis Patriots vs Saint Lucia Kings)

For the second day in a row, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots have lost to the St. Lucia Kings in the tournament. After winning the toss and elected to bat first, The Patriots got bowled out for 118 in the Kings’ great bowling. Fabian Allen scored the highest 34 runs for the team. Jeavor Royal took the most number of 3 wickets for the Kings.

Chasing an easy target of 119, the Kings reached the target after losing 4 wickets in 15.4 overs. In 4 fours and 2 sixes, Roston Chase scored the highest 51 runs for the team playing 38 balls. Allen took a maximum number of 2 wickets for the Patriots. The Kings are second in the points table after winning the match and the Patriots are still in first place after losing.

CPL 2021 Match 18 (Trinbago Knight Riders vs Jamaica Tallawahs)

In the 18th match of the CPL 2021, Trinbago Knight Riders won by 7 wickets against Jamaica Tallawahs. After losing the toss, Tallawahs batted first and scored 144 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Carlos Brathwaite played the highest scoring innings for the team, he scored 58 playing 40 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Besides, Imad Wasim scored 42 and Andre Russell scored 20 runs. Ravi Rampaul and Akeal Hosein took the maximum number of 2 wickets each for the Knight Riders.

Chasing the target of 145 runs, Lendl Simmons hit 5 fours and 5 sixes and played a devastating inning of 70 runs facing 45 balls and the Knight Riders got triumph with 17 balls to spare. Colin Munro also scored the second-highest 34 runs for the team. Wasim took a maximum number of 2 wickets for the Tallawahs.

After winning this match, the Knight Riders have now risen to 3rd place in the points table and after losing, Tallawahs is in 5th place.

BAN vs NZ (3rd T20I)

The visiting New Zealand has defeated Bangladesh by 52 runs in the third match of the five-match T20I series at the Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday. At the same time, the Black Caps kept their hope of winning the series alive. Bangladesh is still ahead by 2-1.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost 5 wickets in 20 overs and scored 128 runs. Henry Nicholls scored 36 off 29 balls for the team. Tom Blundell scored 38, and Will Young and Rachin Ravindra both scored 20 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin took the highest number of 2 wickets for the Tigers.

Chasing the target of 129, Bangladesh got bowled out for 76 playing 19.4 overs by the Kiwi bowlers. Mushfiqur Rahim scored the highest 20-run innings for the team. Apart from Liton Das (15) and Mohammad Naim (13), no one could get the double-digit score. Ajaz Patel took the highest number of 4 wickets for the Kiwis. Cole McConchie also took 3 wickets.
