The Melbourne Renegades got a good win by 5 wickets against the Melbourne Stars in the 33rd match of the BBL 2021/22 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, the Stars were bowled out for 126 in the allotted 20 overs due to the great bowling of the Renegades bowlers.

For the Stars, Hilton Cartwright top-scored with 41 off 29 balls. Travis Dean scored 32 and Charlie Wakim collected 12 runs for the team. Nic Maddinson, Kane Richardson, and Reece Topley took the maximum number of 3 wickets each for Renegades. Jack Prestwidge also took 1 wicket.

Chasing the easy target of 127 runs, Renegades reached the victory port with 12 balls in hand after losing 5 wickets. NZ vs BAN (1st Test – Day 3)

Bangladesh started the third day’s play with 175 runs for the loss of 2 wickets against the host New Zealand at Mount Maunganui. Mahmudul Hasan Joy, who was unbeaten on 70 the previous day, returned to the dressing room yesterday with 78 runs. After that Mushfiqur Rahim (12) was dismissed for the team’s 203 runs.

After his departure, Liton Das and Mominul Haque built up a big pair of 158 runs. Bangladesh captain Mominul fell victim to Trent Boult after playing an innings of 88 runs with the help of 12 fours off 244 balls. SA vs IND (2nd Test – Day 1)

On the first day of the second Test of the series against hosts South Africa in Johannesburg, the visiting India were bowled out for 202 in just 63.1 overs by the aggressive bowling of the Protea pacers. Batting in reply, South Africa ended the first day’s play by losing one wicket for 35 runs. Proteas captain Dean Elgar (11) and Keegan Petersen (14) are unbeaten on wickets.

Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first, they lost the wicket of opener Mayank Agarwal (26) by the team’s 36 runs, which was the first blow for them. Experienced Test cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara (3) failed to do well and returned to the dressing room. Ajinkya Rahane then returned to the dressing room with a golden duck in the delivery of Duanne Olivier.

Indian regular captain Virat Kohli could not play in the match due to back pain. Kagiso Rabada sent off Hanuma Vihari (20), who got a chance in his place.
