Delhi Capitals have won the low-scoring match against the Mumbai Indians by 4 wickets at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, the Indians scored only 129 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs due to the great bowling of the bowlers of Capitals.
For the Indians, Suryakumar Yadav played the best innings of 33 off 26 balls. Besides, Quinton de Kock scored 19 runs and Hardik Pandya scored 17 runs. Axar Patel and Avesh Khan took the highest number of 3 wickets each for the Capitals.
Chasing an easy target of 130 runs, the Capitals lost 6 wickets with 5 balls to spare. Shreyas Iyer played an unbeaten 33-run innings for the team. Besides, Rishabh Pant scored 26 runs and Ravichandran Ashwin scored 20 runs. Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult, and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket each for the Indians.

In the 47th match of IPL 2021, Rajasthan Royals got a huge victory of 7 wickets with 15 balls in hand against Chennai Super Kings at Zayed Cricket Stadium. After losing the toss and opting to bat first, CSK lost 4 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and scored a big score of 189 runs courtesy of Ruturaj Gaikwad’s extraordinary century.
Gaikwad played a devastating inning of 101, remaining not out from 60 balls smashing 9 fours and 5 sixes. Besides, Ravindra Jadeja scored 32 off 15 balls and Faf du Plessis scored 25 off 19 balls. Rahul Tewatia took the maximum number of 3 wickets for RR.
RR’s two openers Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal got off to a great start after coming down to chase the huge target of 190 runs. They picked up 77 runs in just 5.1 overs. With 6 fours and 3 sixes, Jaiswal played a stormy inning of 50 off 21 balls. Lewis made 27 off 12 balls. When they returned to the dressing room, the captain Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube took the team’s helm.
Dube played a match-winning inning, and he scored an unbeaten 64 off 42 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes. Samson returned by scoring 28 runs off 24 balls, but Dube led the team to victory. Glenn Phillips also remained unbeaten on 14 off 8 balls. Shardul Thakur took 2 wickets and Asif took 1 wicket each for CSK.
After winning this match, RR has now risen to the 6th position on the points table. On the other hand, CSK is still at the top of the points table after being defeated.
