BAN vs AFG (2nd ODI)

In the second match of the series, the host Bangladesh won by 88 runs against the visiting Afghanistan courtesy of Liton Das’s extraordinary century at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first, and they lost 4 wickets in 50 overs and scored 306 runs.

Liton Das played a devastating inning of 136 off 126 balls with 16 fours and 2 sixes for the Tigers. Mushfiqur Rahim played a splendid innings of 86 runs from 93 balls. Fareed Ahmed took the maximum number of 2 wickets for Afghanistan, and Rashid Khan and Fazalhaq Farooqi took 1 wicket each.

Chasing a challenging target of 307 runs, Afghanistan was bowled out for 218 in 45.1 overs due to the aggressive bowling of the host’s bowlers. Najibullah Zadran played the highest innings of 54 runs for the team. Rahmat Shah scored 52, and Mohammad Nabi scored 32 runs. BAN vs AFG (3rd ODI)

In the 3rd and final match of the series, the visiting Afghanistan has picked up a huge victory of 7 wickets with 59 balls to spare against the host Bangladesh courtesy of Rahmanullah Gurbajz’s extraordinary century at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Bangladesh was bowled out for 192 in 46.5 overs due to the outstanding bowling of the Afghan bowlers.

Liton Das played the highest innings of 86 runs off 113 balls for the Tigers. Shakib Al Hasan scored 30, and Mahmudullah remained unbeaten on 29 runs. Rashid Khan took the maximum number of 3 wickets for the Afghans. Again, Mohammad Nabi took 2 wickets.

Chasing an easy target of 193 runs, Afghanistan lost 3 wickets and reached the victory port in 40.1 overs. Rahmanullah Gurbajz played the match-winning innings of 106 runs of 110 balls, remaining unbeaten with 7 fours and 4 sixes for the team. Rahmat Shah scored 47, and Riaz Hassan scored 35 runs.
