In the last-ball thriller on Saturday, Supernovas beating Trailblazers resulted in the same two teams facing off in the final again in Sharjah on Monday. However, with a win for the Supernovas, Velocity, led by Mithali Raj, was knocked out as Radha Yadav held her calm to not let the opposition score 10 runs in the last over. For the third consecutive time, Harmanpreet Kaur and her girls will now be hoping to defend their title and retain the trophy.
On the other side, trailblazers are searching this time around for a pretty confident machine. A big win over Velocity quickly earned them a spot in the finale. Even then, when chasing down 147 the other day, they put up a fantastic display, and the most important thing was, their middle and lower-middle order almost did the team’s job. With the bat, the likes of Deepti Sharma and Harleen Deol were brilliant, and their bowlers are experienced enough as well.
Weather
Although the temperature will drop below 30 degrees Celsius by 6 PM local time, there is no risk of rain at all. While on the field as well, the players will feel a little better.
Pitch
The wickets were much slower, following the previous record in the tournament, and thus made it difficult for the batters to play the big strokes. Anything over 140 runs on the board would be a good total for the team batting first.
It is expected that the dew factor will play a significant role in giving a slight advantage to the team while chasing the runs. In a significant pressure final, however, runs on the board are the way to go forward.

The Trailblazers look like a formidable team on paper heading into the all-important final. With Smriti Mandhana and Deandra Dottin opening the batting at the top of the order, the team has enough firepower. With Jhulan Goswami and Sophie Ecclestone in prime form all through the competition, the bowling unit also looks settled.
The Supernovas, on the other hand, will have to address the middle order muddle in their bid for a third successive title. To bat through the innings, they will need either Harmanpreet Kaur or Jemimah Rodrigues.
Let’s back Trailblazers to beat Supernovas with Baji now to enjoy the excitement of cricket!
