Warriors and Cape Cobras, trapped at the bottom of the points table, will be locking horn in the 9th game of the CSA T20 Challenge. The Warriors played two games and lost both, but they still have a glimmer of hope that they will make it to the top three. They lost the first game against the Lions by four wickets and then fell short of the target by three runs against the Dolphins in a rain-affected match.
The Cape Cobras have lost all of their three matches. They still have a second-worst net run rate, and to have any chance of playing in the play-off (2nd vs 3rd) game, they would need two big wins. Both teams will put their best in it, with this being a must-win game.
Weather
With showers forecast during the day, the weather is not very promising.
Pitch
The pitch is a nice one to bowl on, as seen in the previous CSA T20 Challenge games. The fast bowlers will try and vary their pace to get the best out of the ground. The team winning the toss would be looking to bat first.

The two teams have yet to win a tournament game, but the Cape Cobras is a stronger team than the Warriors on paper. They have more depth on their side with Hamza, Zorzi and Verreynne scoring runs, and their batting line-up looks fine. They had a close game against the Knights, and they should have won it comfortably.
