Busy schedule for the international teams, Cummins to stay away from the remaining IPL 2021

The BCCI is desperate to stage the second part of the IPL 2021. In the meantime, they have also published a draft schedule. The draft schedule shows that the postponed IPL is scheduled to start in September and end in early October.

But whenever the second part is held, the England & Wales Cricket Board has said they will not give NOC to their cricketers. This time, there are doubts about getting cricketers from some other countries as well in the IPL. In particular, the Kolkata Knight Riders have got a big push before the start of the second part of the tournament.

Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins, one of the most expensive cricketers in the history of IPL has told Aussie media that he will not play in the second part of the IPL this time.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Aussie star Pat Cummins will not travel to the UAE to play the rest of the IPL matches. The Knight Riders star does not want to return to play in the IPL, but no specific reason has been given.

The report stated, “David Warner and Pat Cummins may be rested from the West Indies tour due to family reasons.” Although Cummins has a multi-million dollar IPL contract, he has already said he will not return to play in the T20 league this year.

During the first part of the IPL 2021, some Aussie cricketers returned to the country and said that they felt fatigued in the bio-bubble. The rest of the event will be played in the UAE, but there will be strict bio-security. it is difficult to survive mentally within that.

Earlier, Ashley Giles, managing director of men’s and women’s cricket at the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), made it clear that the BCCI could consider ending the IPL 2021 on a schedule they want. However, there will be no change in England’s plan for that.

He made it clear in practice that even if senior England cricketers are rested from the Bangladesh and Pakistan tours, they would let them play in the IPL this time.

A lot of cricket boards have some pre-scheduled and some players are also showing their unwillingness to play in the rest part of the IPL 2021. It’ll be tough for the BCCI to organize IPL amid these hurdles and will be interesting to see how BCCI copes up with these.
