BCCI released the complete schedule of IPL

A probable time for when the new season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will start was known earlier. But we have to wait so long for the full schedule. Now the wait is over. The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule for the upcoming IPL. According to the published schedule, the Damama of IPL will start on March 31.

Home and away venues are being added again from this season of IPL. Due to Corona, this procedure was stopped for a long time. The last time the teams got the home and away venue was in 2019 Meanwhile, this franchise-based T20 tournament has also been held abroad. The facility was not maintained on UAE soil in 2020 and 2021.

A total of 10 teams will participate in this year’s IPL. The teams will be divided into two groups. Group ‘A’ has Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Laxmau Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, and Rajasthan Royals. Group ‘B’ has Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Punjab Kings. The top two teams from the two groups will get tickets to play in the Super Four.

A total of 74 matches will be held in this year’s IPL. The matches will be held in a total of 12 stadiums in different cities in India. The reigning champions Gujarat will take the field on the opening day. Their opponents are Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai. However, the schedule of eliminators, qualifiers, and final matches of the tournament is yet to be known. The schedule of the next game will be known after the end of the league stage.

Meanwhile, since the home and away system is returning after a long time, in that case, the mood of the IPL may also increase compared to the last few years. Since the teams will be playing at their home ground, the audience support will also be relatively high. Going to the opponent’s camp again, there is also the challenge of taking away the victory by handling the pressure of the visitors. However, the players are already used to playing in this way. Cricket fans are now waiting for a crowded IPL season.
