The damama of Asia’s cricket excellence has rung. The Asia Cup is knocking on the door. Team Bangladesh left Dhaka under the leadership of Shakib Al Hasan to participate in the Asia Cup.

Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport was filled with the presence of media workers and fans on Tuesday afternoon. This crowd of fans is mainly to see the Bangladesh cricket team that have left for Dubai to play the Asia Cup. After noon the cricketers also started coming one by one.

The tigers were seen entering through the business class gate of the airport’s Terminal Two. However, the captain Shakib Al Hasan was not seen. Later it is known that he entered through the VIP gate to dodge the camera lens of the media. As soon as this news is known, the crowd gathers.

Meanwhile, Enamul Haque Bijoy and Taskin Ahmed could not board the Emirates flight with the team. They could not go with the team mainly because of visa complications. However, the two are scheduled to leave the country on Wednesday. Team Boy Bulbul is in the same problem. He will also board the flight on Wednesday along with Bijoy-Taskin.

Meanwhile, this year’s Asia Cup is going to start from 27th of this month. The final of the tournament will be held on September 11. A total of six teams will be divided into two groups. India’s partner in Group A is Pakistan. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will play in ‘B’ group.

Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will play in the opening match. But the most high-voltage match of the Asia Cup will take place a day after the curtain rises, on August 28. Two arch-rivals India and Pakistan will fight on the 22-yard field. On the other hand, Bangladesh’s first match is on August 30, against Afghanistan.
