Bangladesh has announced the team for West Indies series, keeping the surprise

The Bangladesh team will tour the West Indies next month. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the squad for the full series. Mushfiqur Rahim has not been named in the three-format team as he has taken leave to perform the holy Hajj. Mustafizur Rahman has returned to the Test team. The team’s biggest surprise is the return of Enamul Haque to the ODI and T20 squad after a long absence.

Mustafiz last played a Test against the West Indies in January 2021. After the drama, he will return in white against the Windies again. Meanwhile, Bijoy played in the national team jersey last time in 2019, in the ODI match against Sri Lanka. He played his last T20 8 years ago, against Zimbabwe in 2015. Bijoy came back in both formats of the white ball.

Pace bowling all-rounder Saif Uddin, who was injured in the World Cup, has returned to the ODI and T20 squads. Taskin Ahmed, who missed the Sri Lanka series, is in the ODI squad. Another fast bowler, Shariful Islam, has been included in the ODI and T20 squads. Mehdi Hasan Miraz will play Test and ODI. However, spinner Naeem Hasan has not been named due to injury.

The Tigers will travel to the Caribbean with a 16-member Test team, a 17-member ODI team and a 15-member T20 team. The first Test will start on June 16, and the second Test will begin on June 24 in St. Lucia. The duo will then face each other in three T20 matches on July 2, 3 and 7. Three ODIs will be held on July 10, 13 and 16.
