Bangladeshi cricketer Al Amin has surrendered to the case filed by his wife Israt demanding the right to live together, monthly maintenance and child support. This pacer got bail after surrendering. The court granted him bail till October 6.
Wife Israt Jahan filed a case against Al Amin alleging torture of women. After filing the case, he also hidden himself for some time. However, Al Amin surrendered in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shafi Uddin’s court on Tuesday. Then he applied for bail through the lawyer. He got bail in the case. After the hearing, the judge granted his bail till October 6 on a surety of Tk 5,000.
The case was filed by Israt Jahan on September 7. She filed this case claiming the right to live together, monthly maintenance and children’s expenses. After taking the case into consideration, the court ordered Al Amin to appear in court on October 27.
According to the case, Israt Jahan and Al Amin were married on December 26, 2012 according to Islamic Shariah. They have two sons. The elder son is studying English version in Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College. For quite some time, Al Amin does not support his wife and children and does not look for her.
According to the information given by Israt before filing the case, on August 25, he demanded a dowry of Tk 2 million from his wife Israt. Al Amin physically tortured her when she refused to pay the money. Israt filed a case after this incident.
There is rumor that Al Amin has married a second time. However, no evidence of marriage has been found. But according to the information given by Israt, she also got pictures of him with a woman. The matter became stronger, on September 3, it was reported through Al Amin’s mother that the cricketer does not want to continue conjugal life with his wife Israt Jahan.
