Bangladesh secured a thrilling 3-run victory over Zimbabwe in the Super Twelve of the T20 World Cup 2022 on Sunday (October 30). With this victory, the Tigers still keep their hopes of the semi-finals alive.
A huge drama happened in the last over. Zimbabwe needed 16 runs in the last over to win. Tiger captain Shakib Al Hasan gave the ball to Mosaddek Hossain. Brad Evans and Ryan Burl were batting. For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed scalped the highest number of 3 wickets with 19 runs including 1 maiden in 4 overs. Which is his second career-best bowling figure in T20Is. Along with that, Taskin was also selected as the player of the match. On the other hand, pacer Mustafizur Rahman picked up 2 wickets with just 15 runs in 4 overs.
