Afghanistan traveled to Zimbabwe under Ahmadzai due to Thorpe’s illness. Where Rashid Khan has won all three ODIs and three T20I matches. Meanwhile, the ACB wants to appoint a new head coach before the tour of Ireland to play a five-match T20 series in August.
Afghanistan have appointed West Indies’ Ryan Maron as their fielding coach ahead of the T20 World cup in Australia. For the time being, the initial appointment is for 6 months, but later the issue of extending the contract will depend on the performance. Besides, Umar Gul has been appointed as the bowling coach.
