Northern Warriors and Team Abu Dhabi met in an insane match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi) on Friday night, February 5 in the 2nd eliminator match of the Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021. Northern Warriors won by 7 wickets against their opponent team Abu Dhabi.
Northern Warriors captain Nicholas Pooran decided to field after winning the toss and sent Team Abu Dhabi to bat.
Abu Dhabi opener Paul Stirling made a great start while coming to bat. In his stormy innings, Team Abu Dhabi picked up 40 runs without losing a wicket in the first two overs. But in the last ball of the third over, Paul Stirling lost his wicket scoring 46 runs off 13 balls and Team Abu Dhabi started to lose their control over the match. After that, nobody could manage to score that much. However, Fabian Allen spread heat on the wicket by bowling. Abu Dhabi could score 114 runs for seven wickets in his fiery bowling spell. Fabian Allen (4-13, 2 overs) was the highest wicket-taker for the Northern Warriors.

The Northern Warriors then found their way to victory by leaning on a 76-run stand for the third wicket partnership by Lendl Simmons and Rovman Powell. Lendl Simmons scored 46* runs off 27 balls remaining not-out and Rovman Powell scored 49 off 24 balls. With two balls to spare, the Northern Warriors reached the target losing three wickets. Three bowlers took one wicket each for Team Abu Dhabi. They are Rohan (1-25, 2 overs), Nevan (1-21, 2 overs), and Obed McCoy (1-22, 2 overs).
Northern Warriors reached the final of Abu Dhabi T-10 League 2021 by winning this match. Northern Warriors and Delhi Bulls will meet in the final tonight at Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi). On the other hand, after losing this match, Team Abu Dhabi and Qalandars will face each other in the third-place match at Sheikh Zayed Stadium (Abu Dhabi) this evening.
