Jofra Archer (10 credits)
Jofra Archer quickly became one of the top tournament bowlers. He had already picked up 19 wickets, and most of them were upfront in the powerplay. Archer will come into play very early, with KKR opting for an inexperienced top order. In addition to that, during the tournament, KKR’s batting displayed signs of brittleness. Archer may be the right man to tear through their batting line-up out of form.
Ben Stokes (10 credits)
At the end of the IPL, Ben Stokes eventually came into his own. Although it seemed that Stokes was not comfortable opening the innings in the initial few games, in the previous game, he followed up his 100 against MI with a quickfire 50 against KXIP. His batting form has also made it easier to help him build confidence while bowling. With KKR having 3 left-handed batsmen in their top 6, RR’s two leg spinners might not be as helpful, and Stokes may end up bowling his full quota, as we saw in the game against KXIP.
Eoin Morgan (9 credits)
It is incredible that, without scoring a half-century, Eoin Morgan has 350 runs this season. He would probably like to cap the group stages with a fifty. Morgan had looked good all season, but he was referred to by that one significant performance. Morgan could be up for a major one, with Rajasthan having Rahul Tewatia and Shreyas Gopal as two leggies in their line-up. There is a great chance that he will go after the leg spinners and other inexperienced RR bowlers if KKR’s skipper eventually chooses to bat up the order.
