Shane Watson (9 credits)
No doubt Shane Watson is a match-winner. But we haven’t seen the Watson we saw in the 2018 and 2019 finals, and that’s probably why CSK is falling behind this season. In the match against KXIP, he gave a glimpse of the vintage Watson, who was a nightmare for the bowlers. He struggled to score a significant score for his team. You may then choose to remove him from your team at Dream11.
Trent Boult (8.5 credits)
With the new ball for MI, Trent Boult was brilliant. But following the powerplay, he was a costly pick. He picked out 12 wickets from 9 matches, and most of those scalps came in the powerplay. But he’ll be up for runs until the power play ends, as there won’t be much for him on offer. He’s the one who you can remove from your Dream11 squad.
Shardul Thakur (8.5 credits)
Shardul Thakur was the bowlers’ choice for CSK. While he was influential in squeezing the flow of runs, he was unable to select wickets for his captain as other CSK bowlers did. He is more like a bowler of death who has the power to control the movement of runs alone. You can choose to skip him in your Dream11 squad with the firepower MI has in their bowling arsenal.
